Kim Fitzsimmons - U.S. Market President, Chase Merchant Services

Kim Fitzsimmons joined Chase Merchant Services in September 2014 as the U.S. Market President. She currently oversees all marketing, relationship management and sales activities in the U.S. for Chase Merchant Services.

Kim Fitzsimmons previously served as Chief Executive Officer for Cynergy Data. Throughout her career in the payments industry, she has compiled a successful track record of accomplishments in both sales management and leadership. Almost 25 years ago, after earning her BA in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi, Fitzsimmons began her payments career in sales for Concord EFS. She quickly made the move to accept a leadership position, where as a manager she established herself as energetic, well balanced and results oriented. Kim's focus on results has led her to always look to the future. She was at the forefront of industry expansions such as supermarket and petroleum verticals, as well as PIN based debit acceptance.

Her career has spanned one end of the payments spectrum to the other from her beginnings at Concord, to CEO of her own ISO, EFS Card Services, to First Data. While at First Data she held positions such as President of First Data Independent Sales and General Manager of First Data Merchant Services and Community Banks. While at First Data she led both acquiring and issuing divisions that were responsible for over $ 1.4B in EBITDA. As U.S Market President for Chase Merchant Services, she is excited as ever about the future of the industry and she is looking forward to shaping the adoption of mobile payments and EMV.

Mark Horwedel - Chief Executive Officer, Merchant Advisory Group (MAG)

Mark Horwedel has worked in the payments industry for over 35 years. His service includes over 20 years in leadership at 3 different PIN debit networks (Money Center 24, Money Network and Magic Line). Mark’s background includes both financial institution as well as retailer experience, including 3 years as a bank CEO and 5 years at Walmart.

Mark is currently CEO of the Merchant Advisory Group (MAG), a trade association focused on merchant payment issues, where he advocates merchant positions on topics such as EMV, mobile commerce and eCommerce. Mark represents the MAG on the Federal Reserve’s Mobile Industry Working Group and at a variety of payment industry forums. He is a frequent contributor to payments newsletters and has also served as a registered lobbyist on merchant payments matters, including the Durbin amendment to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act.

Christine (Chris) Lee - President, Moneris Solutions

Chris Lee is Moneris Solutions' President, North American Strategic Partnerships and Emerging Markets. In this role, she is tasked with increasing channel revenues by growing Moneris' existing Value Added Reseller and partnership programs, forming new strategic partnerships and developing and implementing strategies to target new markets. Chris oversees all aspects of the Strategic Partner and Emerging Markets channel, including sales, marketing, operations, account management, merchant retention and business development.

A highly-accomplished and well-rounded industry veteran, Ms. Lee brings over 28 years of payments experience to Moneris. She has worked for several leading payments companies during her career, including MasterCard International, National Processing Company, Bank of America and Vantiv. Ms. Lee has worked in nearly every aspect of the payments business, including sales, customer service, operations, product management, business development and strategic planning. Ms. Lee is very active in the payments community, currently serving as an advisor and the Technology Committee Chair for the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA). In 2009, she received the ETA's Committee Volunteer of the Year Award for her efforts with the Technology Committee. Ms. Lee also serves on the Board of Directors of the Women's Network in Electronic Transactions (W.net), a not-for-profit organization that supports women in the electronic payments industry. A Midwestern native, Ms. Lee holds a BA in Communications and Marketing from St. Louis University.
